FOR LOVE OF THE BREED
We are an all-volunteer group that rescues, fosters, and places Abyssinian and Somali cats within New England and the Mid-Atlantic States. Our hope is that no Abyssinian or Somali is left behind, unwanted and/or in danger. We believe that there's a shared responsibility among owners and breeders to promote the welfare of these breeds that we love.
WHAT WE DO
Our cats are cared for in private homes. We do not operate a shelter. Foster parents allow a cat to remain in a home setting where they enjoy more space and a calm environment.

REHABILITATE
Many of our cats require some form of socializtion or physical rehabilitation. We have volunteers who know how to help traumatized cats and treat medical conditions.
EDUCATE
We consult with owners experiencing feline behavior issues with the hope that the Abyssinian or Somali can stay in its current home.
ADOPT
We work hard to place our cats into safe loving homes where they can enjoy life as pampered family members. Our goal is to find the right family for each of our cats.
Saving the life of one cat won't change the world but it will change the world for one cat.
